A boom bap street rap song, with a hardcore rhythem, with a female backup singer, rapping about his home town Eastern Cape Motherwell, home pride, ghetto slums of Gqeberha, unity of the community, the city of arts and culture, the unrecognised talent of the Eastern Cape kids, failed government of Eastern Cape, the love for my city, great artists coming from Eastern Cape, song title Welcome to Motherwell

male vocals rap punchy hardcore and street-close. Boom bap street rap with a hardcore swing and head-nod drums; male vocals with a female backup singer on the hook gritty call-and-response. Verse rides dusty kicks and sharp snare cracks; pre-chorus pulls back to bass and handclaps; chorus hits with chanty gang vocals piano stabs and short delay throws on the title. Vinyl crackle siren-like risers and a tense last-bar pause before each drop. Mix is raw
