Modern lăutărească in the spirit of classic Romanian taraf bands with rich accordion contrabass and cimbalom leading; male vocals smoky and emotional. Verses stay intimate and rubato over sparse chords then the chorus locks into a subtle groove with hand percussion and warm backing harmonies. Dynamic arc grows from whispered regret to proud resilience ending on a sustained vocal note and a soft instrumental tag.
